Executive leadership of business unit with annual sales in excess of $750MM, 2200 personnel and Servicing over 3800 fast food restaurants. Led the development and execution of the 2017 Major Supplier “Vision 2020 Cost Savings” process resulting in overall company savings Of $6.2MM.
Time Management & Organizational Skills
Simultaneously led world’s largest roofing manufacturing facility AND led completion/start- up of greenfield site that produced up to 220k tons/year of coating grade asphalt for use in shingle manufacturing. 7 months after site construction was completed, production was at full capacity. Businesses had combined sales of $311MM with operating budgets of $259MM, and capital funding of $30MM.
Mergers & Acquisitions
Identified and led $6.2MM acquisition of Limestone Crushing facility which created vertical integration capability, reduced cost for critical raw material by 21%, and increased efficiency in supply chain. Additionally, led establishment of all operating and maintenance processes necessary to properly supply limestone to shingle manufacturing facility.
Led operational and merger efforts in $55MM acquisition of American Stone Mix and Bonsal American that secured Sakrete Concrete Mix rights for Eastern US.
Proven Leader & Mentor
Developed a formalized Leadership Training and Mentorship Process for the organizations “Next Generation” of leadership as part of company succession plan. Personally trained and mentored professional development of 5 individuals who were promoted to General Manager Positions. Have been privileged to lead, in both military and civilian sectors, teams and individuals to turn around and improve performance of every organization and achieved levels beyond expectations.
Led implementation of Employee Led Safety Processes that reduced facility OSHA recordable rate 65% and adopted as corporation’s BEST PRACTICE. Established corporate standard achieving 562 days without lost time accident.
